Description

This Triple Chocolate Berry Mousse Cake is a decadent layered dessert featuring rich chocolate, smooth mousse, and a tangy berry layer. Topped with fresh raspberries and blueberries, this cake is a showstopper for any special occasion!

For the Chocolate Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

For the Berry Mousse:

  • 1 1/2 cups raspberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

For the Chocolate Mousse Layers:

 

  • 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 8 oz milk chocolate, melted
  • 8 oz white chocolate, melted
  • 3 cups heavy cream, divided
  • 3 tbsp gelatin powder, divided

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into a springform pan and chill.
  • Make the Berry Mousse: Blend raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Heat and dissolve gelatin in water, then mix into berries. Fold in whipped cream and layer over crust. Chill for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare Chocolate Mousses: For each mousse layer (dark, milk, and white), dissolve gelatin in warm cream and mix with melted chocolate. Fold in more whipped cream and layer one at a time over the berry mousse, chilling between layers.
  • Decorate: Top with fresh berries and drizzle with chocolate.

 

  • Chill for 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap raspberries for strawberries or blackberries.
