Ingredients
For the Cupcakes:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups powdered sugar

2 tbsp heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp rose water (or more to taste)

Instructions

Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners. -
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. -
Cream Butter & Sugar:
In a separate bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla. -
Combine & Bake:
Alternately add dry ingredients and the milk-sour cream mixture to the wet batter.
Mix until smooth and combined. Fill cupcake liners ¾ full.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. -
Make Rose Buttercream:
Beat butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar in batches, alternating with cream.
Mix in vanilla and rose water. Add pink or red food coloring to desired shade. -
Decorate with Love:
Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes with a rose piping tip.
Garnish with heart sprinkles, sugar roses, or edible glitter. -
