For the Chicken:
- 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
For the Dill Lemon Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Wrap:
- 4 large flour tortillas or pita wraps
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- Optional: crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add chicken breasts and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C). Remove and let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay out tortillas. Spread 1–2 tbsp of the dill lemon garlic yogurt sauce on each. Layer with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, sliced chicken, and optional feta.
- Wrap and Serve: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll tightly. Serve immediately, with extra sauce on the side if desired.
