  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For assembling the flatbreads:

  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

For the garlic hot honey feta cream:

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 12 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the hummus spread:

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas or canned, drained
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ground beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add ground beef, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  2. Make the garlic hot honey feta cream: Mix feta, Greek yogurt, honey, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Prepare the hummus spread: Blend chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Assemble the flatbreads: Warm flatbreads, spread hummus, then garlic hot honey feta cream. Top with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and parsley.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy!
