For the ground beef:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For assembling the flatbreads:
- 4 flatbreads or naan
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
For the garlic hot honey feta cream:
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1–2 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the hummus spread:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas or canned, drained
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ground beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add ground beef, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Make the garlic hot honey feta cream: Mix feta, Greek yogurt, honey, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth.
- Prepare the hummus spread: Blend chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the flatbreads: Warm flatbreads, spread hummus, then garlic hot honey feta cream. Top with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and parsley.
- Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy!
