For the Fritters:
- 1 cup peeled & diced apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- Dash of cinnamon
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix egg, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in apples.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
- Drain and dip in cinnamon glaze while warm.
