For the Flatbread
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
For the Toppings
- 200g brie cheese, sliced
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Hot Honey
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Optional Garnish
- Fresh thyme
- Arugula
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Remove from oven and layer with brie slices.
- Return to oven for another 5–6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan and toast walnuts for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove flatbread from oven and top with cranberries and toasted walnuts.
- In a small saucepan, warm honey with chili flakes and hot sauce until slightly runny.
- Drizzle hot honey over the flatbread, garnish if desired, slice, and serve warm.
Brush flatbreads with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and thyme.
