Ingredients

For the Flatbread

  • 2 flatbreads or naan
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

For the Toppings

  • 200g brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For the Hot Honey

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh thyme
  • Arugula

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Brush flatbreads with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and thyme.

  3. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes until lightly crisp.
  4. Remove from oven and layer with brie slices.
  5. Return to oven for another 5–6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan and toast walnuts for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Remove flatbread from oven and top with cranberries and toasted walnuts.
  8. In a small saucepan, warm honey with chili flakes and hot sauce until slightly runny.
  9. Drizzle hot honey over the flatbread, garnish if desired, slice, and serve warm.
